What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really like the templates, the starting point gives the idea you need. I liked the ease of collecting and formatting inputs in an attractive way. It is easy to update at any time. Documentation of all modifications is great. I liked the ease of setting permissions. Exporting Mural outputs is easy, ensuring they are easily shared in reports and dashboards.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Mural is bug-free, and it is impossible for it to slow down at any stage.

I recommend it, it creates diverse and effective paths that ensure continuous collaboration.

MURAL is strong in many ways, which distinguishes it from others. Its specialization is augmenting visual workflow. It offers many promising tools, including shapes, drawing tools, icons, and sticky notes, which assist our team in ideating and unifying their ideas visually. Compared to others, it is a top choice for teamwork.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its facilitation superpower-like features, enable us to manage the large size of groups and to keep their focus sustained, which is the priority of virtual collaboration. This software is easy to navigate and user-friendly, creating ease for its users whether they are experts or novices. Its comprehensive library gives structure for brainstorming, strategic planning, and retrospectives, thus saving us maximum time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is all-in-one software with powerful features in it. However, some areas need attention for improvement. It is a feature-rich platform. Its advanced facilitation features require an investment of time and more initial training for a better understanding of its functioning.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The facilitating and robust collaborative features of Mural make it highly fit for those working in teams and conducting workshops, and brainstorming sessions frequently. It is very intuitive for basic working tasks, but the advanced feature requires basic training before implementation to maximize its potential.

What differentiates MURAL from other similar products?

MURAL creates a perfect blend of creative but free-flowing collaboration with enterprise-level security. I, as a privacy consultant, value their great data residency options and tight access controls very much! This also enables cross functional teams to collaboratively map out what the complex compliance workflows should look like without having to risk unintentional exposure of sensitive client data or breaking strict internal corporate governance policies.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Particular to system mapping and agile workflows. For privacy impact assessments, I can rapidly visualise complex data flows and user journeys. With smart sticky notes and connector lines, you can communicate abstract data protection concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a very intuitive manner.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The guest access permission altogether, is just way too complicated. I really appreciate a tight security model here, but inviting an external client to see one board (without access to the entire workspace) is far too many menus. The overall experience of carrying out client consultations would be infinitely improved if this external sharing mechanism were simplified without sacrificing the necessary security safeguards therein.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

MURAL across your organization. Invest time to set up default permission configurations while setting up folder structure in an organized way. Also, make the most of their amazing integrations with Jira and Slack for a much easier integration of visual collaboration directly into your current privacy management as well as daily communications flow.
