Fantastic software for all kind of data management

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates IBM InfoSphere Information Server from other similar products?

The feature of Infosphere that I appreciate best is its SaaS delivery of total versatility. Although some concurrent engine tweaking is necessary, balancing is virtually entirely automatic. Using connectors URL values directly on the connectivity stage, new features simply dragging and dropping can fix a problem.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It makes it possible to combine data from numerous urban and business platforms. It is an interdepartmental platform for integrating data extraction, transformation, and uploading. We like and value native integration with additional data integrating functions like data profiling, data cleaning, and directory services. It has excellent data derivation capabilities and can manage massive amounts of data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The option of creating jobs utilizing several execution engines, such as parallel or servers, might be perplexing for inexperienced developers. Beginning and restarting the DataStage services is sometimes necessary to address metadata problems. Although it is an expensive and dependable instrument, upgrading it will undoubtedly require IBM's assistance.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a really strong platform that solves our complicated business difficulties. It is scalable, trustworthy, and has an auto-healing option. The fact that we can synchronize my data as many times as we like is the nicest aspect. It offers remarkable versatility with conventional and non-relational databases. It significantly reduced the management time required for the implementation phase.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Trustworthy
  • Effective Service
