What differentiates Box from other similar products?

Box does more than just allowing me to save files and share saved files. I can also create and automate workflows / business processes using the visual workflow designer function on Box, known as Box relay.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy using the Box mobile application. I love the consistency in feature across different operating systems, the ability to download and edit files in offline state, the ability to edit office format files right from within the Box mobile app interface, and its integration functionalities around group commenting, digital signature scanning and real time push notifications when changes are made to my files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

File synchronization on Box isn't fast enough for me, especially large sized files. This is one grey area of my Box experience that I really want to see improved upon.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For medium and large sized organizations who need enterprise-level security for all file sharing and file access in the company, Box is top on the list .

Its security framework works as a deciding factor for great regulations. Compared to other tools that focus solely on storage or document sharing, Box offers centralized content lifecycle management, collaboration, automation, and data governance in efficient ways.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and other regulations makes it ideal for my working environment. It has a minimum learning curve, real-time collaboration, version control, and integrated commenting tools are very beneficial. The flexibility in its integration supports efficient workflows and centralized content management. I really like the way it secures data and provides effective ways for data collaborations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Box offers an impressively comprehensive suite of tools for secure content collaboration. More extensive customization options for branding or white-labelling for shared folders and portals when collaborating with clients are lacking in this platform, which is requisite for smooth working.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Box is a top-tier choice for those who prioritize security, collaboration, and document control at scale. The Box Shield's functionality would be useful for enhancing threat detection and intelligent data classification. It is a highly collaborative content management platform.

The feature I find very useful is the capability that allows you to open and edit any file using your local software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The drag and drop user interfase does not allow you to add an external file directly into a folder; first you have to add it to the opened folder and then move it to the folder in which you want to save the file.
