What differentiates Webex Messaging from other similar products?
One feature that stands out is the persistent chat. Conversations don’t disappear, so I can revisit them anytime if I need context or reference an older discussion. For example, when working on long-term data projects, we often revisit initial discussions to trace decision paths or locate specific feedback from weeks ago. Having this historical continuity in the chat is an advantage, as it allows us to pick up where we left off, no matter the time lag.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Webex Messaging’s integration with Webex Meetings is incredibly helpful. We can instantly start a video call if a conversation needs more than just text. There’s a seamless flow from messaging to meetings, which is ideal when a question escalates into something that needs a quick visual walkthrough. This one-click transition saves time and keeps conversations from getting bogged down in back-and-forth chats.

What differentiates Webex Messaging from other similar products?
It works really well with all the other Webex tools, like video calls, phone calls, and file sharing, all in one app. It has strong security features to keep our messages and files safe, which is important for teams dealing with sensitive information. Plus, you can customize how it works and connect it with other business apps, so it fits the needs of different teams and helps everyone work together better.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The app is easy to use, so everyone on the team can find what they need and communicate without a lot of training. I also like that it works well with other Webex tools, so we can easily move between messaging, video calls, and sharing files. This makes things simpler and helps us stay productive and connected.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One thing I don’t like about Webex Messaging is that it can be slow to open sometimes, especially when I’m sending big files or when a lot of people are using it. This can mess up our workflow and be annoying. I also wish I could customize notifications more so I could control how and when I get alerts.
