What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like how it helps organize multiple projects and resources clearly. The reporting tools give good insights, so it’s easier to track progress and make decisions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, it feels a bit complex and takes time to learn all its features. The user interface could be more modern and easier to navigate.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re already using SAP products or managing many projects at once, this tool is worth considering. Just be ready to spend some time learning it to get the best out of its features.

What differentiates SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management from other similar products?

At Legora I lead PMT for our AI platform. What stands out to me about EPPM is that it's not just tracking tasks but you can also do financial planning, resource allocation and risk assessment without switching screens. For us that's massive because our projects involve sensitive legal work and tight deadlines. Having everything in one place keeps the team from asking me where all the research and projects are all the time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Having everything in one place is probably the best part. Budgets, resources, risks, it's all there without jumping between systems. Saves me from chasing people for updates constantly. Makes my life easier as a PMT Lead at Legora, especially when managing multiple AI projects at once.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It crashes occasionally when too many people are using it at once. Also some setup steps weren't obvious, we had to redo a few things because we misunderstood what the config was asking for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take your time with implementation. Also make sure your team plays around with the interface before starting real work. Actually read the release notes. Sometimes the small stuff matters more than you'd expect.

An innovative tool for estimating and analyzing projects and their results is SAP Project and Portfolio Management. This streamlines the procedure and lightens the administrative load. The crucial application SAP PPM enables customers to understand strategic objectives based on data. Finding the root of an issue and, if necessary, fixing it is really beneficial to me when something goes wrong with a project. An excellent cross-functional agent, SAP PPM enables teams to cooperate and coordinate on numerous projects at once.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I find SAP PPM very user-friendly, easy to configure, and even easier to use. Multitasking agent, I use it all together with my team to coordinate several ongoing projects. Track each project and show all the progress achieved and the estimated time it will take to complete reports and send e-mails.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Due to its complicated processes, SAP PPM was first challenging to understand, making updating key rules a bit of a hassle. The project’s resources are also constrained. The user interface is also a little shaky. The cost is considerably higher than that of rivals. Its restricted functionality is viewed as a drawback.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I like that SAP is so easy to use. It becomes more user-friendly when I joined SAP, I helped fix the bugs because we were a test site and when we went live it was great, some problems happened here and there, but they have been effectively addressed.
