What differentiates Pipedrive from other similar products?

Pipedrive is unique feature which is activity-based selling. The platform reminds you to do the most important sales steps (like a follow-up call or email) consistently to make a sale. This is further enforced with customizable activity reminders, metrics, and reports, which ensure sales teams stay on track and never lose momentum in the sales cycle. This activity-based approach can prove to be particularly useful for companies trying to create consistent sales culture and maximize productivity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The platform has native integrations with more than 300 third-party apps, from email marketing software to accounting applications. Thanks to this vast variety of integrations, enterprises can build the right tech stack to support their own needs and keep Pipedrive central to sales operations. Consolidation between business applications not only accelerates processes, but also gives you a more detailed understanding of how customers behave across touchpoints.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The platform has an email tracking feature that’s another limitation. Pipedrive does have email integration and tracking, but some users complain about tracking inaccuracies and limited email customization. This can be an issue for sales teams that are based on email and require analytics about prospect activity. Inconsistent email analytics and custom templating capabilities can require the addition of additional email marketing software, complicating the sales tech stack.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It’s important to think about your growth plan and future requirements. Pipedrive does have multiple plans, which grow in feature as the number of sales is increasing, but if your company has an already growing sales pipeline or plan on massive scaling, you need to make sure the platform will be able to handle it long-term. You can also take advantage of Pipedrive’s free trial offer to try out the software with your team thoroughly. This live demonstration will enable you to evaluate if the platform’s user interface and workflow is compatible with your sales process and team.

User-Friendly CRM Focused on Visual Deal Tracking.

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Pipedrive from other similar products?

Pipedrive differentiates itself with its very appealing and customizable pipeline view. The drag and drop functionality let you drag deals from one step to the next and provides an encapsulated visualization of the sales journey. This visual method helps sales teams better priorities work, pinpoint bottlenecks, and make better predictions (particularly for complex or long-term sales cycles).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite thing about Pipedrive is that it has a great mobile version. The app has a smooth, cross-device interface for sales reps to view and edit deal details, contacts, and activities in-app. What’s cool about the app is that you can use it offline and still work, if you don’t have access to an internet connection. This is a huge advantage for field sales teams or those that work in locations where the internet isn’t connected as crucial information can always be accessible and synchronized after the connection is restored.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Something that I don’t like about Pipedrive is the lack of reporting options, especially when we are talking more advanced analytics. It’s a pretty basic reporting tool but if you’re after a more complex visualization of data or customized report building, you’ll be limiting your options with the platform. This constraint can be a drag for organizations that depend heavily on deep sales analytics to make strategic decisions, and may require exporting data to other third-party apps to perform more advanced analysis.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When it comes to companies who are considering Pipedrive, I recommend first looking at your sales process and team structure in detail. Pipedrive is great for visual pipeline administration and activity-based selling. Pipedrive may be a great choice if your business wants to be simple, simple, and have an intuitive sales funnel graph. However, be sure to make sure its functionality matches what you need, especially for reporting and email.
