What differentiates Microsoft Purview from other similar products?

In the area of data governance, Microsoft Purview is well-known for its complete integration with other Microsoft services, including Azure and Microsoft 365. This makes it easier for organizations to control their data assets and keep up consistent safety standards across all platforms.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really appreciate Microsoft Purview's data cataloguing feature, since it makes it easy for organizations to find and oversee their data assets. This technology makes it easier for teams to see their data and work together, and also speeds up how users get and use the information they need for decision making.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One major disadvantage of Microsoft Purview is that it is quite complex, and this may confuse people not used to working with data governance tools. A difficult learning process can make Purview a tough sell, especially to non-technical employees, possibly affecting how well it works in the organization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For individuals evaluating Microsoft Purview, I think it is important to take the time to analyze your organization unique data governance requirements. When you know your requirements, you can better use the product’s features and get more value for your organization.
