What differentiates Globalscape EFT from other similar products?

It's helped a lot with client onboarding. Setting up permissions used to be a pain but now it's quick. The automation handles file transfers without me watching over it. And the drag-and-drop interface is user friendly even our non-technical people can figure it out.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It supports secure protocols like SFTP, HTTPS and AS2 which we use all the time. MFA and key-based auth give me some peace of mind. I like the event rules too that they let me setup PGP encryption and email alerts without much effort. User creation is easy and permissions are flexible. Performance has been reliable even when we're pushing large files across.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I ran into a thing where I needed to stop uploads to a specific folder temporarily and just queue them. Couldn't find a way through event rules. Maybe I need to dig deeper but it wasn't obvious. Also our VAPT guys pointed out that sensitive data shows up in the URL and there's no CAPTCHA. That was a little concerning honestly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Test the event rules early, they do a lot but aren't always intuitive. Get your security team involved upfront about the URL thing. Also plan your user permissions carefully from the start. It's a good tool overall.

What differentiates Globalscape EFT from other similar products?

When it comes to large file transfer there is no other tool that works faster than this and we have used this with SharePoint, it works so smooth . They are providing integrated security and have two factor authentication that makes it more secure and safe and reliable at the same time .

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The speed of file transfer and security that it provides with integrated two factor authentication and make sure that files reaches with same level of security that we have at the source and easy to integrate and maintain . The best part is it maintain the file structure with the security and meta tags intact as we work with SharePoint where we have meta tags as well.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is nothing as such to dislike the only part we were stuck were implementing two factor authentication.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is must to buy product when you work with files and an integrated environment of SharePoint as you don’t have to worry about speed and it scales like butter when you have large files without throttle .

Fine tool with more than enough options to meet your secure file transfer needs like, pricing increases have returned to standard uplifts. Service and support are very responsive.
