Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Ellucian Banner from other similar products?

Because it offers an all-in-one, integrated platform that manages student information, finance, HR, financial aid, and registration in one unified system. This comprehensive approach reduces the need for multiple disconnected systems

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Ellucian Banner is its comprehensive integration across multiple administrative functions—such as student information, finance, and HR—into one seamless platform. This simplifies processes, improves efficiency, and allows institutions to manage everything from one system.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Ellucian Banner is that its user interface can feel outdated and not as intuitive as some modern solutions. It may require a steep learning curve for new users, and customization can be complex for institutions without dedicated IT resources.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I’d recommend considering Ellucian Banner if you're looking for a comprehensive, scalable solution that can handle all aspects of student information, finance, and HR in one system. However, be prepared for a learning curve and ensure you have the resources for training and customization. If you’re a larger institution or one with complex needs, Banner’s robust features and cloud-based infrastructure can offer long-term value.
