Deltek PPM is good to have if you have multiple projects you are working with and you require an increased amount of visibility into the schedules of, status of and resources on a number of projects, bringing pieces of project information together so that you don’t need numerous spreadsheets and team updates.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I think what I most like about this software are the project and resource planning.I have much better view on how things is progressing, where the strain are placed on resources etc., and where is something that must be addressed before it hit the delivery.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It takes a little time to learn how the system works, and the reporting, planning detail feature is not the most intuitive for a first-time user. It’s important for all teams to stay current with the project details to get valid reporting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd recommend Deltek PPM for a group that oversees multiple projects and teams. I would set up structures for those projects, how they are owned and reported so there is a common source of truth for everybody.

Capability to manage and integrate multiple aspects of project and financial management, including resource planning, timekeeping, budgeting, invoicing, and reporting all in one platform as well as their focus on providing solutions specifically for project-based businesses.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use, streamlined processes and workflow automation capabilities. The ability to access real-time data and insights on project performance has been extremely beneficial in making informed decisions and ensuring projects stay on track.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I haven't really found any major issues with the product. But sometimes the user interface can be overwhelming and take some time to navigate, but once you become familiar with it, it's not a major issue.

My advice to anyone considering Deltek would be to thoroughly evaluate their business needs and ensure that the features and functionalities offered by Deltek align with those needs. It is also important to understand that there may be a learning curve when implementing any new software, so investing in training and support resources will go a long way in ensuring a successful implementation and adoption of the product.

My favorite aspect of Deltek is its ability to track time and expenses accurately, allowing for effective project management. Furthermore, the software's reporting capabilities are comprehensive, offering valuable insights into project progress and financial data that enable us to make informed decision-making.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I haven't come across any major issues or concerns with Deltek so far. I love its user interface, and everything runs smoothly
