What differentiates Canon Therefore from other similar products?
Canon Therefore is user friendly, Cost effective solution. Customer is having the provision to start this in a very smaller way and can scale up as and when require. Normal windows users can use it without a detail training. OCR is very powerful as well the Viewer. Workflow engine and Form builders are exceptional. As a low code platform coding is easier and that supports lot of customisation. API and Web services are capable enough to do any kind of integration. Ready integration with MS/SAP and others like Oracle etc has recognised Canon Therefore as a proper ECM for any size of organisation. Azure cloud gives some additional mileage.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
User-friendliness and scalability. Stability also. Flexibility in respect of customisation as well integration.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Canon Therefore is very weak in Indian sub continent in case of targeting big ticket deals. Proper credentials are not available form local team.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is a best buy for ECM. Returns value for money, considering the true enterprise level features.

What differentiates Canon Therefore from other similar products?
We have only tried Canon Therefore so don't have comparison data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Canon Therefore has become a vital tool in our invoice approval workflow, offering a streamlined, integrated approach that significantly enhances operational efficiency of the process.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only issue we have encountered is with the frontend OCR platform (Tungsten-Kofax) indexing the data and occasionally causes server issues that require manual clearing and restarts. While the root cause is unclear, it may be related to server security patches or compatibility concerns that happen regularly but not a huge issue or deal breaker.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Before implementing, it’s important to clearly define your end goals and desired outcomes. Understanding the full scope of your workflow and data needs upfront helps identify potential obstacles early, making it easier to design a system that works efficiently from the start—rather than making adjustments after deployment.

Cost for storage is an overshoot and missing automatic PDF compressing to lower cost of storage.

Think and discuss with internal team the requirements. It's easier to do it at the time of deployment then at later stage.
