Fastest Database Platform out there

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Oracle Exadata from other similar products?

Orcale Exadata has been conceptualized and developed from ground up to run Orcacle Databases with high speed, reliability and efficiently. Also, the migration to exadata was seamless without requiring a lot of change to our end scripts.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's completely scalable and thus suits the organization of every size. Further, it is flexible in supporting on premise, hybrid and on cloud deployments. It's one of the fastest database systems in terms of data retrieval and analytics workload times.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's a bit expensive database service but the benefits outweigh the high price. Further, the Exadata technology only works with Oracle hardware and servers. So, it's more suited for organisations with an existing Oracle ecosystem only. Also, learning curve is a bit steep considering not enough documentation is available.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are already on Oracle databases and works on many isolated databases, Oracle Exadata can help in consolidating all the databases under one single database , thus leading to efficiencies in terms of Database management costs and optimum resource utilization and allocation.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
