What differentiates FortiMail from other similar products?
Having a Fortinet eco esystem in our IT infrastructure FortiMail integration and deployment is easier and FortiMail user interface is good where analyst can see appropriate data systematically and easily. FortiMail has option to quarantine or delete the mail in the server before it is delivered to end user.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The spam consider level helps the user to analyse email and chances of spam. It scan an attachment in the cloud itself before being delivered. The user can block a mail in the server level before the mail has deliver to individual users. Interface is good for analyst to analyse spf, dkim and dmarc records. The one email gateway we can have anti spam, anti virus, mail inbound and outbound analysis in one place.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Email gateway has it shown rules. But analyst should be well capable to understand it and then creating a correlation alert. I would like to see sandbox integrated to FortiMail.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
A must have mail gateway we can get database of the Fortinet environment. And protect yourself from phising, spam and cyber attacks.
