What differentiates D&B Hoovers from other similar products?
D&B hoovers is the depth and reliable of its company information. I use it for account research and data enrichment and its provide detailed information about company profiles, industry information, employee counts, revenue and corporate hierarchy, Duns numbers is also unique data points that can be provided by only D&B hoovers. I use D&B hoovers for parent child linkage another thing i found valuable is how well it works with salesforce. Compared to ZoomInfo , D&B has vast information about corporate hierarchy. I use connect company profile as well
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Its company hierarchy and firmographic data. In my day-to-day work, I often need to identify the correct parent company, validate account information, and understand how different entities are connected working in Global team at Anaplan as it required to connect Parent and child for billing. D&B Hoovers makes this much easier by providing detailed company hierarchies along with reliable information like industry, employee count, revenue, and company status. It saves me time during account research and helps improve the accuracy of our Salesforce data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some retired data or old data still shows. They have to refresh their data very frequently
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Firmographic data and Corporate hierarchy is the strongest features would recommend.

Good concept but poor data quality

Attempts to provide highly tunable selection criteria for new leads.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We like the ability to select leads based on very specific criteria.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The data quality really takes the legs out from under their offering. Several leads no longer exist at the company listed, or several that should be listed but aren't. Not very reliable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Really go into the purchase considering that you aren't going to see top quality, top tier data. Still, there is some value in the older leads, just don't expect all of the leads to be correct and updated.
