What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?

Unique features like customizable NGIPS rules, network discovery, and integration with AMP to prevent attacks like ransomware

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cisco Talos security updates are the best, and integration with devices like AD, ISE, and AMP is simple. The GUI tabs are very easy to use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

hardware and license prices are very expensive, and the initial setup takes some time

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great NGFW with easy management, unique features and more VPN options, but the price is high. Compare with other vendors before buying

What differentiates Cisco Secure Firewall from other similar products?

Compared to other vendors like Palo Alto and Check Point the CLI of Cisco Secure Firewall is also complex but its GUI management is very simple. The CLI commands for troubleshooting are easier, while other vendors have complex show commands. Cisco offers great options for NGIPS configuration more VPN options and Cisco AnyConnect is the best for remote access VPN.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to manage, Cisco Talos updates are the best, and whenever you need to implement something, official documents are available. It also integrates easily with third-party vendors.

What do you dislike most about this product?

price is quite high, so small companies will need to think twice before buying. The licenses are also expensive. The CLI configuration is a bit complex it should have been simpler like Cisco ASA firewall.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If price isn’t a concern for a company, they can directly buy Cisco without thinking twice. No other vendor offers better support and research than Cisco. If any issues arise after purchase, TAC support is excellent. It has unique features compared to other vendors, monitoring is very simple, and deep logs are displayed

Most other NGFW vendors offer similar features but Cisco's Talos update, Security Intelligence, and Network Discovery features are unique and the best in class

seamless integration, centralize easy advance monitoring, easy implantation

price is high and cli configuration is complex

You should buy Cisco Secure Firewall because no other vendor can match Cisco's support, and it offers more features like Security Intelligence, Network Discovery, and additional VPN options
