Clunky, But Does the Job for Higher Ed Course Mgmt

What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?

It's much more user-friendly than ClassIn, which I also use for my work for another employer.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I very much like how it allows the user to import existing content. I routinely teach the same class, term after term, and being able to import information from previous terms saves me a great deal of time and effort.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I find customer support for technical issues slow and rather unhelpful. I usually have to go to the internet and various educator forums to get quick, actionable responses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Not really suitable for one-on-one teaching--much better for classes offered through formal organizations, e.g. schools, universities, etc. For a private tutor, Canvas would be a bit of overkill.

The platform manages to provide a comprehensive set of teaching and learning tools while maintaining an intuitive interface that faculty, students, and staff can quickly learn to navigate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no AI integration and, assistance

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If anytime, anywhere access is important for your students, Canvas's mobile-first approach provides significant advantages over less responsive competitors.

What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?

Canvas stands out for being creative at the same time keeping things organized which is not offered by ther other tools for same work which makes it very easy to use tool for me.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like it canvas because every part of it feels useful, ass nothing is confusing for me. It offers me what i need and when i need it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It should offer better integration with third party tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If working with your team is important for you, you should try it with your team if it works well for you then you must go with it.
